salt on the rim
spray in the air
Foam runs across my body
currents breathe through me
I hold the gust
the surge
the living tide —
endless, restless, bright with life.
I give my owner the salt of the sea on their lips,
the breath of wind in their chest,
the strength of tides that never stop
I give the freshness of spray,
the freedom of waves,
the endless vitality of blue.
